The Material

As a mother, a fellow earthling, and an ardent admirer of Dame Jane Goodall and Sir David Attenborough, I am committed to making a positive difference in our natural environment. If you're curious about my mission, read more here.

I exclusively use 100% recycled cotton cords, some of which have a polyester-filled core for added firmness. My goal is to eliminate plastic completely, so I diligently seek eco-friendly solutions for all my products.

All the cords I utilise are certified with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, ensuring they are free from harmful substances and safe for children to use, chew, or lick.

I work with premium-quality, 100% cotton threads that are both strong and durable. This high-quality material guarantees the lasting beauty and durability of my products.

Every material I use are made in the EU.

The Technique

Initially, there was a spiral, beautifully crafted from a single, braided cord. It captivates the eye and stirs a sense of awe; yet, it is not sorcery but a demonstration of science.

It is simply the result of tension, angle, and gravity.

I utilise a beloved sewing machine to stitch the cord together, resulting in a distinctive creation— a functional object that appears rigid but is surprisingly soft to the touch. Even when suspended, it retains its unique shape without the need for wires or lamp rings. The shades are foldable, and with a little gentle pulling, time, and care, they return to their intended form.

Each piece is

one-of-a-kind, beautifully imperfect, and artistically asymmetric.

All products are handcrafted, designed, and sewn by me personally.

Each piece is made with love and attention to detail, it will enhance your space but also bring warmth and personality into your home. The soft glow of the shade creates a safe atmosphere, perfect for evenings spent with those who matter most. As you unwind, you'll find that these lampshades serve as a gentle reminder of the beauty that can be found in handmade creations and the joy of surrounding yourself with natural, sustainable items. Thank you for allowing a piece of my passion to brighten your world!
